1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how MERIDIA DC, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Meridia,” “we,” “us”), handles personal information collected through meridiadc.com and its related pages (the “Site”) and through business inquiries sent to us.
Address: MERIDIA DC, LLC, 202 49th Ave S, Meridian, MS 39307.
Privacy contact: info@meridiadc.com.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to the Site, people who contact us through the Site or our published email addresses, and newsletter subscribers.
It does not cover:

  • Information exchanged under a signed non-disclosure agreement, services agreement or other contract with Meridia. That agreement governs how such information is protected, used and returned.

  • Employees, contractors and job applicants, who receive a separate notice.

  • Restricted portals, data rooms and other Meridia systems that require sign-in. Access to those systems is governed by the applicable agreement and access terms.

  • Third-party websites, including LinkedIn, that the Site links to.

3. Information we collect
Information you give us

  • Contact form: name, email address, message, and any company or role details you include.

  • Newsletter: email address.

  • Business correspondence: business contact details and the content of your messages.

Information collected automatically

  • Site analytics: our website platform provides aggregate traffic statistics such as page views, referring sources and daily unique visitor counts. We do not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or third-party tracking tags.

  • Technical and security data: our hosting provider processes information such as IP address, browser type and request details to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.

We do not ask for, and ask that you not submit through the Site, sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, financial account details, health information or precise location.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and evaluate potential business relationships.

  • To send newsletters and company updates to people who sign up, with an unsubscribe option in every message.

  • To operate, secure and improve the Site.

  • To keep business records and meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

  • To establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Confidential business information
Do not send confidential, proprietary or technical information through Site forms or general inboxes. Material sent that way is not treated as confidential information unless it is covered by a written non-disclosure agreement signed by Meridia. If you want to share confidential material, contact us first so we can put an agreement in place.

6. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers that host the Site, deliver email, store records or support our business operations, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.

  • Affiliates of Meridia, for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality duties.

  • Corporate transactions, such as a financing, merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.

  • Legal requirements, when required by law, court order or valid government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Meridia or others.

7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. Retention periods:

  • Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: up to 24 months after the last contact.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not email you again.

  • Records connected to a business relationship: for the life of the relationship and as required by law or contract.

8. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including access controls and multi-factor authentication on our business systems. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and give you access to it.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete information you provided.

  • Provide a copy of information you provided in a portable format.

  • Stop sending you marketing email. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any message.

Send requests to the privacy contact in Section 1. We will verify your request using information we already hold and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time as permitted by law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within 60 days.
We extend these rights to all Site visitors regardless of where they live. Depending on your location, laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation may give you additional rights. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
Browser signals. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control do not change how the Site operates. We will honor such signals if our practices change.

10. Visitors outside the United States
Meridia is based in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, developing business relationships and securing the Site; your consent for newsletters; and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy
We will post any update on this page with a new effective date. If we make a material change, we will provide a prominent notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
